Medical camp was organized at Annamalai Nadar Nimmalai Ammal Higher Secondary School in Sivakasi by our Lions club of Sivakasi ,Sivakasi Municipal Corporation, M.Pudhupatti Government Primary Health Centre, Madurai Guru Hospital and Anush Fertility and Women's Specialist Center.
General medicine, cancer, heart disease diagnosis, infertility, women and children health special camp, diabetes, blood pressure diagnosis, eye treatment, dentistry, psychiatry all these were free of charge and free medicines were given to the needy. A total of 225 people benefited.
Many pregnant women participated in it. Women were examined by female doctors. Cervical cancer screening is also done with Pap smear. And for the first time in our city, medical tests like ECG, ECHO, mammogram, ultrasound scan were done.
